The PROPEL District 1 Loan Fund is a low-interest, short-term revolving loan program. The fund serves as another resource to help make access to capital more readily available to businesses located in Wichita City Council District 1. The microloan program helps provide general working capital to qualifying small businesses.
This fund offers short-term microloans in the amounts of $2,500 to $25,000 to qualified minority business owners, who may not otherwise qualify for traditional lending, to grow their businesses while also improving their financial profile. Business owners who qualify may use the funds to purchase inventory, equipment, materials and other supplies necessary to grow their enterprises.
